About Us
Hi! I am Kirsty, founder of Little Happy People. I’ve created Little Happy People to promote ethical children’s clothes and toys, sourcing Fair Trade and plastic-free products. I’m passionate about the environment and educating the next generation to look after our planet.
I am mother of two ‘Little Happy People’ – Eliza, 3 years old, and Emily, 1 year old – and wife to a ‘Big Happy Person’ – David. As a family, we love spending time together playing games and going on adventures.
We are passionate about looking after the planet and try to be as eco conscious as possible. This means trying to use as little chemicals as possible, buying zero waste and plastic free products, buying local produce and joining in with local community initiatives to help nature.
Being from an educational background, I have a passion for educational, natural toys as well as an interest in children’s wear. Running an eco-friendly cleaning company has naturally led me to expand into the sale of eco-friendly products but I also wanted to join it with my passion for children. I wanted to promote the sale of natural, plastic free toys and the sale of sustainable, great quality children’s wear that can be passed on through generations throughout my local area of Vale of Glamorgan. It is also important to me to work with suppliers who promote brands that are ethically sourced and who promote fair trade and a good living wage and working conditions for the workers who help to create those brands. A shared responsibility from production to arriving to the customers.
As a company, Little Happy People hope you enjoy shopping with us and that as a family you enjoy our products for years to come whilst being confident that the brands have all joined together to own their responsibility to help workers, help the planet and help create lots of Little and Big Happy People.
